Money Can't Buy It

There are a lot of rich people who are not happy. Don't take my word for it. You have seen them for yourself. The news or the tabloids are usually always talking about some high profile case or another. This is mentioned to validate one point. Money can't buy happiness.

Of course, this is a very old saying. It has stuck around for so long because of the undeniable truth it represents. In the past I, myself, have questioned the validity of this saying. I used to think, "If I had all the money I wanted, there is no way I could possibly be unhappy." I later came to realize the ultimate truth behind it though.

This truth goes for more than just money. It goes for everything that you desire in life. It is not what you want that makes you happy when you get it. It is how you feel when you are experiencing it. It really all starts and ends with how you feel.

A man can have nine figures in his bank account and still be bent out of shape about a relationship or some other problem that money does not solve. Another man can be one pay check away from being penniless and feel like he's on top of the world.

This intangible feeling is why they say, "The best things in life are free." Money really can't buy this feeling. It is only accomplished by being in total acceptance of reality. When you can say YES to everything in your present moment; you have no choice but to be happy.

Though money can't buy happiness; happiness might get you paid. Happiness actually attracts money. Take a good look at life and see if you agree.

The New Money

Did you hear about the new money coming out? Pretty soon everyone will have to switch over to this new currency. It's evolutionary and it's inevitable.

In the same way that, "gray is the new black," or "smart is the new cool;" the new money is your attention. If you think about it, right at this moment, your attention is the most valuable asset you have! Even more true, it's really the only asset you ever have!

The "new" money is exactly the same as the old money in terms of it's power source. There are lots of people who have long since switched over to the new money. The "new" money is not really new. It's alway been there. It was there before money and it will be there after money.

Recognizing that your attention determines your quality of life way beyond any amount of monetary funds effectively minimizes the importance of cash and as a result allows you to have more of it.

You are spending the new money right this second. You are paying attention right now. Start to notice how much you spend and what you spend it on during your everyday. When you pay attention, you always get something in return. What are you getting back? Do you like and enjoy it? If so, you are appreciating your money! If you are paying attention or focusing on what you don't like, you are in a state of lack. Cash money's got nothing to do with it.

So get your money up!

C.R.E.A.M.

C.R.E.A.M. or simply cream, is an acronym/older slang term meaning 'money'. The acronym stands for "cash rules everything around me," made famous by the Wu Tang Clan in the early 90's. If you are into hip-hop music, this is common knowledge.

I give it mention because, not only was it a popular term, but it was, and still is, a very common way of looking at the power structure of our society. To illustrate, we have the even older and possibly more well know sayings:
  • "He who has the gold makes the rules."
  • "Money talks. Bullshit walks."
  • "Money makes the world go round."
  • "Cash is king."
This used to be my philosophy and still is for a large majority of people. What do I see differently now? I understand what money really is. I can see that it is only a material indication of the number of choices you have at a given moment. It may allow you to be in nice surroundings, but it does not determine your quality of life!

I began to see that it is the perspective that you are viewing life from that actually determines your quality of life. Money can't buy it! Being aware of my own state of mind held the key to really controlling everything around me. This is even proven scientifically through quantum physics. The observer plays the dominant role in creating reality and interpreting experience.

Realizing that money does not have power over my circumstances was a new feeling of freedom experienced. The world was mine in a whole new way. True wealth did not stem from material, but from with in me! Consequently material wealth will be remarkably easier to attract.

I still like the old term 'C.R.E.A.M.' I just made a little adjustment.

Consciousness rules everything around me.

Feel Like a Million Bucks

Ever ask yourself, what does a million dollar moment feel like?
What does a millionaire spending a hundred grand feel like?

Can you imagine what it feels like? Come to think of it, money has nothing to do with experiencing a "million dollar moment." Being totally in the moment and feeling exactly what you want to feel like in that moment has everything to do with it.

Don't take my word for it. You have seen millionaires who are angry and depressed and you have seen broke people who are extremely ecstatic.

So there's no reason you can't feel like a million bucks anytime. It's only a matter of feeling like what you are doing is exactly what you want to be doing. Sounds strange at first, but it definitely works!

Feel like a million bucks!

Quality of Life

Ever notice how people often confuse the amount of money people can spend with the quality of life they have? The misconception of the amount of money one has and quality of life is a common one.

Notice how a dollar amount can never truly be attached to what actually affects your quality of life. The way you feel at a particular moment is really what defines the quality of your life in that moment.

Excitement, exhilaration, enthusiasm, joy, and peace are a few of the feelings you can have that bring the quality of your experience of life way up. A person can be dead broke and still feel these feelings. A person can be extremely wealthy and still be depressed. You determine the quality of your life in any given moment.

Yes, it is definitely true that more money allows you more choices in life, but it does not determine the quality. Realizing how to feel great more times than not will actually attract more money to you. A happier you is the best and most expensive gift you can give to yourself.

The Best Things In Life Are Free

Most of us have heard this saying many times. Some of us agree with it and some do not. Let us take a good look at the validity of this saying.

Many people believe that the best things in life can be bought. If you have huge sums of money; you can, in fact, have anything you want in the material world. You can have the best things the material world has to offer. This brings up the question: Is the best that the material world has to offer the best that life has to offer?

Considering the fact that life is not a material thing, how can something material be the best it has to offer? To clarify; you, yourself are life. You do not have a life. You are not living a life. You are life! The true essence of your being, the consciousness that animates your body; it is life itself. It is who you truly are. Realizing that you are of spirit and not material; how can something material be the best you have to offer yourself?

To put it even more clearly; consider the fact that experience and not material is what dictates the nature of life. To illustrate: what would you rather do? Would you rather have the experience of having and doing what ever you like, when ever you like, with who ever you like and never actually own anything; or would you rather live a stress filled life knowing full well that you are among the wealthiest people in the world? The key word here is experience.

The best things in life are intangible. That is why they are free. The best thing in life is life. You can not reach out and touch experience. You can not buy experience. Money does not allow you be in high spirits all the time. Only your perspective can allow you this luxury. Your perspective is free. It is only a matter of choice.

"Make" Money

The term "make money" is very common place and widely used. Of course it refers to earning money and/or turning a profit. It does make perfect sense ( :-) makes cents too) when you really look at what money really is.

Money is really energy. How else could we make money? Money is an external representation of the power of our focus. Any time money is earned or a profit is turned from providing goods or services, it is a reciprocation of the energy put into manifesting the goods or services. The energy put into manifesting anything is purely the power of focus.

Taking a good look around you, no matter where you are, everything that you lay your eyes on that is not a creation of nature; everything man made; was a thought in someone's mind before it existed. It was simply the power of focus behind those thoughts that manifested them into the reality that we see before us.

Of course it is a given that most people have no access to a currency printing press; but we all have the power to "make" money.

Wonders Never Cease

The way we look at our reality, with out a doubt, determines our life experience. Funny enough, learning certain things that are indeed factual will sometimes seem to constrict our freedom as opposed to expand it. This is true when you learn that there are limits to what you once thought was limitless. A comical illustration of this that comes to mind, is the coyote from the old Warner Brothers roadrunner cartoons. Often he would run clear off a cliff; but he would not fall until he realized that the ground was no longer below him.

Learning of limitations, in reality, does not constrict our freedom but may even stretch its boundaries. Another paradox, it seems. It is perfectly logical though, if you remember that freedom and responsibility are one in the same. When you take heed to the limit, you take responsibility for it. When you are responsible, you can adapt the limit to be of service and not an obstacle for you.

This can be illustrated with today's economy. The whole world is supposedly in a recession right now. I spoke of this in a previous post (see What Is Money? Really.). Of course this boils down to the Federal Reserve and all other world banks and the fractional banking system.

Check out Zeitgeist Addendum for a good understanding of what I am referring to. The tone of the beginning of the film is somewhat grim, but there are plenty of good facts there to jar you out of any ignorance about what money really is. Like my post about money, it does come around to explaining that we are the true power behind money and that we can change everything for the best.

I mention the film also, because it supports my previous point that the limited way our economy is set up can be seen as a good reason to change it. We can adapt what we have learned from this "economic experiment". In other words, if it was not broke, we would never fix it. The way things are going now will force a reevaluation by the masses as to what actually works. Everything does indeed happen for the best.

Wonder will never cease as long as we have the awareness and perspective to appreciate it. Doom and gloom are only one way to look at the process of making room for something more glorious to bloom.

What Is Money? Really.

With the "financial crises" being what it is right now, it makes sense to take a good look at the cause of it all. Have you ever wondered, who are these people who set our interest rates? Who distributes our cash? How can we be in a recession if we are doing what we have always been doing? How can our money be worth less if we did the same thing to earn it that we did two or three years ago?

We can get to the bottom of all these questions with one much, more simple, and often overlooked question. What is money? Really, what is it? And how does it make the world go round?

Well, we have already talked about having enough for now. What we are really going to uncover is more the concept of money and what gives it it's power. What is the true energy behind money?

If you use your own perception and prior experience; you know that money is a tool we use to show our appreciation for anything that can be bought. As simple as it sounds; the power behind all money really is appreciation. If you do not appreciate a good or service in your life; you will not buy it.

So, either we started appreciating the same food, shelter, clothing, fuel, and everything else, a lot more; or the values have been tampered with. You do the math.

For a much clearer picture of what money really is and plenty of actual facts for you to digest about money, watch Money Masters. You can watch it right now without a download.

All this is being said, to bring to the light, the true source of power behind money. There is power with those who can manipulate the whole money game by changing values. But this is power that we give them. The true source of power is with in you. It is your energy that becomes the fuel for any amount of money to be gathered. It is your appreciation of everything sold that runs the market.

You have more control over your life than money because you are the power behind money. You are life. You are the space that allows money to exist. Appreciate life and your life is rich.
